EdR, Park7 Group Begin Construction on $106 Million Student Housing Development in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh — EdR, in a joint venture with Park7 Group, has begun construction on a $106 million, 723-bed student housing community located adjacent to both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

The property will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units with washers and dryers, granite countertops and robust internet and wi-fi throughout. The building will also feature 381 structured parking spaces and 10,000 square feet of retail space.

The community is being developed by Park7 and will be managed by EdR upon completion in summer 2018. EdR will have an 80 percent ownership stake in the community, and Park7 will have 20 percent
