| Construction Begins for $81 Million Bowling Green Housing Project |
The Northwest Community
The first building, known as The South Central Community, will contain 667 beds primarily for first-year students. Most of the units will be set up with two students per unit with a private bathroom. The second building, known as The Northwest Community, will contain a total of 651 beds in four-bedroom/two-bathroom suites.
The South Central Community
Completion for the project is expected in August 2011. After that, Castone's in-house property management arm, Capstone On-Campus Management, will oversee day-today operations of the communities, with Bowling Green providing student life and residential programming. The project is Phase I of a long-term housing renewal plan for the university.
