| Preiss Announces Executive Promotion |

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh-based student housing provider The Preiss Company has promoted one of its executives. John Preiss has been promoted to executive vice president oof the company. Mr. Preiss first joined the company in 1998 in its property management division. In 2007, he joined the company's Acquisitions and Development team, and most recently served as vice president of business development. In his new role, he is responsible for growing new business, identifying debt and equity partners, and overseeing the company's acquisitions, development and third-party property management.
