Sixthriver Architects to Design Interiors for Three ACC Projects

Austin, Texas — American Campus Communities (ACC) has selected Sixthriver Architects to perform interior design and space planning work for three of its new student housing projects.

Villas at Babcock will be an approximately 800-bed project located near the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to the residential space, the project will contain a community center, a game room, a lounge and a swimming pool.

The second project is Villas on Sycamore, a 680-bed, cottage-style project that is being built near the campus of Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas. The community will include a community center and a swimming pool. Assisting SIxthriver with the design of both communities will be project architect Craycroft McElroy Hendryx.

The final project is an approximately 300,000-square-foot community ACC is developing near the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Amenities for this project will include a swimming pool, a fitness center, a theater/multipurpose room and a two-story community center. Phoenix-based Todd & Associates is the project architect.
