Philadelphia  — SmartClick, Campus Apartments’ online account portal to pay bills and schedule maintenance, can now be accessed via Facebook. The addition of the popular social media tool will make the portal more accessible to students as well as parents, who are not required to be Facebook friends in order to use SmartClick.

“Adding Facebook Connect provides one-click access to make payments, view tenant ledgers and submit service requests for students and additional users the student designates,” said John Ailor, senior director of web and wireless technologies at Campus Apartments. “Nearly all our residents and many of their parents are on Facebook throughout the day, so this was a natural evolution of the portal and eliminates the need to remember yet another username and password.”
