David Selznick Joins Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors as Managing Director

David SelznickArmonk, N.Y. — David Selznick has been appointed managing director of Kayne Anderson Real Estate Advisors (KAREA), the private equity real estate arm of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors that invests primarily in student housing.

Selznick is responsible for all portfolio financing activities and strategic initiatives in structuring transactions and implementing value-add enhancements to portfolios.

Selznick began his career in 2003 and has worked in real estate finance with Deutsche Bank, Bridger Commercial Funding, Capmark and Nat City Investments. Throughout his career, Selznick has acquired, underwritten and/or securitized over $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
