Lafayette, La.
— Ambling University Development Group has completed Baker Hall, a new student housing community on the campus of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (ULL), as well as Oliver Tower, a structured parking facility. The 117,000-square-foot, 462-bed housing facility and the 852-space parking structure represent Phase I of a multi-phased delivery that is set to deliver 2,000 beds by fall 2012. Baker Hall is at 100 percent capacity for the 2011-2012 academic year. It offers furnished suite-style rooms with kitchenettes. Meanwhile, the new six-level parking deck was built on the 1.3-acre site of the ULL Credit Union and includes 10,000 square feet of street level commercial space that serves as the credit union’s new home and ULL’s Parking and Transit Services department.

Construction on Huger Hall, ULL’s next addition in on-campus housing, is underway. Ambling is serving as the developer of the multi-phased project. Niles Bolton Associates and the Lemoine-Juneau joint venture are also involved in the student housing developments.
