ARA Newmark Arranges Sale of Six Student Housing Properties in Texas, Colorado and Kentucky

Texas, Colorado and Kentucky — ARA Newmark has arranged the sale of six student housing properties located in Texas, Colorado and Kentucky.

Ryan Lang, Brandon Buell and Trent Houchin of ARA Newmark represented the sellers in all six deals, totaling 1,894 beds and nearly $200 million. Properties include the 528-bed Encore at Sam Houston and the 192-bed Student Quarters, both located near Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas; The Lookout on Cragmor, a 151-bed community located near the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs; The Lex, a 649-bed student housing property located near the University of Kentucky in Lexington; and two undisclosed assets located in central Texas.

Vesper Holdings sold Encore at Sam Houston to an undisclosed private fund. Atlanta-based Student Quarters sold the Student Quarters property in Huntsville, Texas, to an undisclosed private fund. Newsome Development sold The Lookout on Cragmor to Student Quarters for an undisclosed price, and Eagle Realty Group sold The Lex to Campus First Student Living and CF Real Estate Services for $41.6 million.
