Campus Advantage, Pinecrest Break Ground on 489-Bed Student Housing Community in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh — Campus Advantage and Pinecrest have broken ground on a 489-bed student housing community located near the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

The community will feature fully furnished studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Shared amenities will include a clubhouse, study and collaboration rooms, a computer lab, 24-hour fitness center, outdoor courtyards with seating, fire pits, grilling stations, an Arby’s restaurant and secured indoor garage parking. The general contractor for the project is Rycon Construction and the architect is Desmone Architects, both of which are local firms headquartered in Pittsburgh.
