Campus Apartments Creates Position to Lead Third-Party-Management Portfolio

Philadelphia — Vice president of management services Casey Van Zandt brings 15 years’ experience.

Philadelphia — Campus Apartments has appointed Casey Van Zandt to vice president of management services. In this new position, Van Zandt will oversee the leasing and marketing of Campus Apartments’ third-party management portfolio, as well as develop new business opportunities.

“Campus Apartments will continue to provide unmatched industry expertise to all our properties with the addition of Casey Van Zandt to our team,” said Miles Orth, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Campus Apartments. “Her wealth of experience in the leasing and marketing of student housing will enable the company to further strengthen and expand our fast-growing property management portfolio.”

Van Zandt joins Campus Apartments with 15 years of experience in the student housing industry. She began her career as a community assistant while working toward a bachelor of science in marketing degree at Louisiana State University. Upon graduating, she worked as a property manager and moved into a regional leasing specialist position. Van Zandt then served as National Director and Vice President of Leasing and Marketing for Campus Advantage, in which she oversaw all corporate-level leasing and marketing efforts. She assumed additional responsibilities at an operational level before shifting into a sales role as Vice President of Business Development for the company.

As Vice President of Management Services for Campus Apartments, Van Zandt will work directly with Orth on all leasing, marketing and new business initiatives for the company’s third-party property management portfolio.
