Philadelphia — Campus Apartments and the University of the Sciences are set to develop a new 128,000-square-foot, live-learn facility located at 46th Street and Woodland Avenue in Philadelphia.

The six-story building will deliver approximately 400 beds in two-bedroom, semi-suite units. The development will also feature two staff apartments; 16,000 square feet of social and study lounges; 5,000 square feet of classroom space; a new Resident Life office; two ground floor retail spaces; and an open courtyard.

The $50 million project marks the start of a multi-phased effort to improve facilities across the campus over the next several years, and is expected for completion in fall 2018. Campus Apartments and the university have partnered with architect Design Collective and general contractor Torcon Construction for the development. Construction is set to begin in January 2017.
