Denver — The new management contracts were added in a two-month period.
Denver — Cardinal Group Management has been awarded management of four new student communities in Baltimore, Tucson, Arizona, and West Lafayette, Indiana.
Cardinal Group began managing Varsity | UB in Baltimore in May 2014. The 323-bed community serves the University of Baltimore. Varsity | UB represents the second community under the Varsity brand that Cardinal Group has managed. Cardinal previously managed the Varsity Ann Arbor before its sale in 2013.
Next Level in Tucson, Ariz., serves the University of Arizona and features a rooftop lounge area with infinity edge pool, skybox style fitness center with yoga deck with a 360-degree views of the city and mountains. The community consists of two adjacent high-rise buildings, “Next,” with 389 beds opening in August 2014, and “Level,” with 588 beds that opened in August 2013.
Cardinal Group’s most recent addition, Fuse, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, is situated directly across the street from the Mackey Arena and the Neil Armstrong Engineering Building of Purdue University. The 489-bed community opens this month and will also feature major anchor retail tenants and parking garage operations, CGM says.
Cardinal Group Management’s portfolio has expanded to more than 6,000 student beds with an additional 1,000 beds under construction for 2015 delivery.
