Boise, Idaho – Carter plans to name its multi-family development near Boise State University “Vista.” The 236-unit development is located less than half a mile from the university. The leasing center is scheduled to open Oct. 30 and is located next door to Cheerleaders Sports Bar and Grill at 815 W Ann Morrison Park Drive.

Vista West, a 126-unit site on South Lusk Place, includes studio, two- and four-bedroom apartments. Vista East, a 110-unit site located a quarter-mile away on South La Pointe Street, is a mix of studio, one- two- and three-bedroom units. Completion is scheduled for summer 2015, ahead of the 2015-16 academic term.

“We named this community Vista because of the amazing mountain and skyline views it provides residents,” said David Nelson, senior vice president of Carter’s development team. “We’re excited about ramping up our marketing with the opening of our leasing center for what we feel is the premier off-campus apartment community in Boise.”

Residents will enjoy access to both buildings with upscale finishes throughout, private bathrooms in each bedroom, private clubrooms and fitness centers, game rooms, computer labs, hot tubs, bicycle parking, tanning bed, dog walk area and other amenities. To accommodate residents at both locations, the buildings include covered, controlled access parking on the first floor with three stories of housing located above the parking deck. Additionally, the adjacent, 153-acre Ann Morrison Park provides recreational space for residents, with gardens, athletic fields, picnic pavilions, access to the Boise River and much more.

Pinecrest Partners, a New York-based real estate private equity investment firm, is teaming with Carter to develop Vista. The Preiss Company will be the property manager.
