CBRE Secures $35 Million Acquisition Financing for Student Housing Property in Tampa

Tampa, Fla. — CBRE has secured $35 million in permanent financing for the acquisition of Venue at North Campus, a LEED Gold certified student housing community located adjacent to the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Benjamin Roelke of CBRE arranged the long-term, permanent financing on behalf of Horizon Realty Advisors for its newly formed HRA Opportunity Fund. The financing features a low fixed interest rate with full term interest-only payments, and was secured through CBRE’s Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing program, CBRE Multifamily Capital Inc.

The property offers one-, two-, four- and five-bedroom, fully furnished units. Community amenities include a dog park; two pool plazas with tanning decks; a newly remodeled aqua lounge featuring a billiard table, foosball, life-size games and flat screen televisions; barbecue areas and entertainment seating; sand volleyball; an athletic center; tanning dome; private study rooms with smart televisions; a computer center; fire pit; and a coffee bar.
