CetraRuddy Revamps Residences at Teachers College, Columbia University

New York — The architecture and design firm CetraRuddy has unveiled the newly renovated graduate student and faculty housing at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York.

After a comprehensive assessment of over 500,000 square feet of graduate student housing types and sizes campuswide, CetraRuddy renovated student residences in the college’s historic Bancroft Hall, designed by celebrated architect Emery Roth & Sons.

CetraRuddy previously completed the lobby renovation and provided select finishes and furniture for the school’s Community College Research Center. The renovation of the historic eight-story residence hall on West 121st Street in Manhattan includes 95 graduate student apartments. The total project area is estimated at approximately 90,000 square feet.
