Columbia Development May Buy 27 Student Properties in Troy, New York

Troy, N.Y. — Columbia Development Cos. may purchase and renovate 27 properties in Troy, New York, to be used for student housing, according to the Albany Business Review. The article states that a credit union, SEFCU, owns the properties after the former owner foreclosed. The properties, many of which are currently empty, would serve students who attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
