The Monroe will be a 122-bed, privately owned community located on campus.

Springfield, Mo. — Construction is advancing for The Monroe, a 122-bed live-learn community that is being constructed on the campus of Missouri State University. The project, which is being developed and will be owned by Miller O’Reilly Co., will  consist of a four-story, elevator-served building that will be located at the corner of Monroe and Florence streets. The community will contain a mix of one-, two- and four-bedroom units with individual leases and private bathrooms. The project will be seeking LEED certification. Upon completion, which is expected in the fall, Miller O’Reilly will jointly operate the community with United Ministries in Higher Education, a campus ministry.
