Entasis Design Architects Will Complete Two Projects This Summer

Concord, N.C. — New construction near Virginia Tech and Georgia Southern with CampusWorks, The Preiss Company will deliver in July.

111 SouthConcord, N.C. — Entasis Design Architects will complete two student housing communities this summer.

111 South is near completion near Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. CampusWorks and The Preiss Company are developing the $27 million project with 709 beds and an amenities package that includes a resort style swimming pool with a lazy river, fitness center, yoga room, computer labs, tanning beds and a dog park. This community is being built on a 12-acre site formerly known as The Varsity Lodges. The property will be completed in July 2013. Leasing is currently in progress.

In Blacksburg, Va., Entasis is working on two projects near Virginia Tech. The Reserve at Knollwood is a 224-bed community that will be delivered in July. Campus Works is managing the construction and will begin leasing in June.

The second project, which is currently in design phase, is The Edge, a 911-bed community 111 South will feature a swimming pool with a lazy river.where construction will begin in May. With partners Campus Management Group (CMG) and CampusWorks Development, The Edge will consist of nine buildings with an integrated 9,000-square-foot clubhouse. There will be one acre of outdoor amenities including a zero-entry swimming pool, outdoor fireplace, grilling area and sports court.

Entasis currently has five student housing projects under construction in Virginia and Georgia, and eight more in design phase in Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky.
