Florida to Build New Grad Student Residences

Gainesville, Fla. — The University of Florida has announced plans to construct a new apartment project that will house graduate and professional students.

Gainesville, Fla. — The University of Florida has announced plans to construct a new apartment project that will house graduate and professional students. The project will be located at the site of the former First Baptist Church. According to the university’s housing department, it has been 40 years since new graduate housing has been built. Currently there are only 980 on-campus apartments dedicated to the university’s 15,000 graduate students. Details of the project were not available as of press time, but completion is expected in 2011.
