One West VictorySavannah. Ga. — Jamestown has awarded Greystar Student Living the management of One West Victory Apartments, new student development in Savannah, Ga., opening in 2014. The property once served as the home of the old Savannah Ice Factory at One West Victory Drive on the corner of Bull Street. Jamestown will revitalize two late 19th century buildings and construct one new building to develop a fully furnished 114-unit contemporary student living community.

The urban community, designed by HKS Architects, will incorporate eco-friendly materials with fresh and modern décor designed by interior designer, Cortney Bishop. The development will showcase sustainable features such as low-flow water fixtures, high-performance windows, and energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems. The community will feature recycling centers, dedicated parking for bicycles and a bike servicing station for residents. One West Victory is targeting LEED Silver certification.

The community will offer one-, two- and four-bedroom luxury apartment homes, and amenities include an art studio, media center, study areas, fitness center, and an outdoor patio and courtyard space. One West Victory will also feature a 7,000-square-foot, chef-driven restaurant and café that will appeal to the entire Savannah community. One West Victory is close to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), downtown Savannah and next to Starland Dairy.
