The 90-bed community will focus on fine arts majors.

High Point, N.C. — High Point University will complete construction this fall for a new live-learn community on campus. North College Court will provide 90 beds to fine arts majors.

Amenities will include individual practice rooms for music majors, a studio area for art majors, drafting tables, collaboration areas for creative writing majors, a performance area with a stage for theatre majors, displays for creative work, and outdoor courtyards for performances. Other amenities include common study areas, a business center and a dining facility with outdoor seating.

Since 2005, High Point University has added 2,000 beds to its on-campus housing inventory. This fall will also see the completion of Greek Village. The two projects will bring the school’s on-campus housing stock to 3,590 beds — which can house a majority of the university’s 4,200 students.
