Orlando, Fla. — The Gold Nugget Awards herald development, design and building excellence.
Orlando, Fla. — University House Central Florida, a student housing development one mile south of the University of Central Florida, has received a Gold Nugget Grand Award for best campus housing project from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference. The awards herald achievements in design, development and construction. Inland American Communities is the developer and Humphreys & Partners Architects is the designer for the project. Winter Park Construction provided the building expertise. The five-story, 416-unit, 995-bed development, which opened in August 2012, features a fitness center, multimedia lounge, resort-style pool with cabanas, sport courts, a putting green and tanning beds. The award ceremony took place in San Diego on June 5.
