San Antonio, Texas — A joint venture between The Preiss Co. and Centaline Investment Management Co. has acquired The Estates at San Antonio, a 288-bed, cottage-style student housing community located near the University of Texas – San Antonio.
The property offers two-, three- and four-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity. Community amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, sand volleyball court, private shuttle to campus, grilling and picnic stations and a 24-hour fitness center. The new ownership plans to begin a multi-million dollar renovation on the community, with a focus on updating the clubhouse and amenity spaces. CBRE brokered the sale of the property and arranged financing for the acquisition.
