Ann Arbor, Mich. — A joint venture between CA Ventures and Cerca Trova LLC has submitted a proposal to the city of Ann Arbor for a mixed-use development near the University of Michigan campus.

The planned development would include a 19-story tower and a six-story mid-rise building offering 261 units and 6,000 square feet of retail space. Plans call for a mix of micro, studio, one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom, fully furnished units. Nineteen of the community’s units will be reserved as affordable housing for qualifying low-income residents. Community amenities will include a business center with formal and informal meeting and work spaces; a coffee lounge; and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

“We are proposing an inclusive housing project to serve the housing needs for the University of Michigan students, post-graduate candidates and alumni as well as Michigan Medicine employees and others working downtown,” says Howard Frehsee, principal of Cerca Trova LLC.
