Kennesaw State Plans More Student Housing

The school is seeking approval from the local government and the state Board of Regents to build a 451-bed project.

Kennesaw, Ga. — Kennesaw State University is seeking approval to build a new on-campus student housing project, according to local reports. A resolution on the agenda for the next Cobb County Board of Commissioners meeting would authorize the county Development Authority to issue revenue bonds to fund the project. Local reports put the amount of funding at $35 million.

The story goes on to say that the project, called South Campus Apartments, would consist of a four-story building containing four-bedroom, four-bathroom apartments with a shared kitchen.
