Boone, N.C. — Landmark Properties has broken ground on The Standard at Boone, a 561-bed, mixed-use student housing with approximately 12,000 square feet of retail space.
According to Landmark, the Standard will be the only development of scale to be fully amenitized and within walking distance to Appalachian State University. The project, a joint venture with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital LLC and Stonegate Developers, will commence construction during spring of 2015 with delivery scheduled for fall of 2016.
The Standard at Boone will be located 300 yards from the Holmes Convocation Center and walking distance to restaurants, shops and local nightlife. The Standard will feature six fully furnished floor plans with studio, one, two, three and four-bedroom units. Landmark’s amenity package will offer on-site management, a courtyard Jacuzzi and infinity pool, resident centers with 24-hour study lounges, rock climbing and bouldering area, tanning beds, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, and a trout stream overlook. Covered parking will be available for purchase as part of the residential lease package.
