Montclair, N.J. — Construction has commenced for a new student housing community on the campus of Montclair State University in Montclair. The project, which is being developed as a public-private partnership between the university and Birmingham, Ala.-based Capstone Development Corp., will contain 1,978 beds in a mix of private and shared bedrooms as well as a 24,000-square-foot dining hall.
