Durham, N.H. — Flats, townhomes and cottages make up the 460-bed community.
Durham, N.H. — Peak Campus Development received site plan and conditional use permit approval from the Durham, N.H., Planning Board to build a 142-unit, 460-bed student apartment community adjacent to the University of New Hampshire (UNH). The project is expected to break ground in April for an August 2014 delivery.
"This is an incredible site at a premier institution and in a market with significant barriers to entry," says Dan Fitzpatrick, president of Peak Campus Development.
The project will offer 2- and 4-bedroom flats, townhomes and cottages. All units will contain private bathrooms, in-unit washers and dryers, high-end finishes including stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, and a modern furniture package. Community amenities will include a large multi-purpose clubhouse with WIFI, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, ample bike storage, UNH shuttle service, and a pedestrian/bike path linking the property to the UNH campus.
Peak Campus Development personnel have developed 21 student properties totaling more than 11,000 beds since 2007.
