College Park, Md. — Peak Campus has been selected as manager of Terrapin Row, the newest purpose-built student housing community serving the students of the University of Maryland.
The project, a three-building, 1,493-bed student housing community, is located adjacent to the University of Maryland campus. It is being developed in a joint venture between Toll Brothers Campus Living, the student housing arm of Toll Brothers Inc., and Ares Management.
Terrapin Row will provide fully furnished units in a mix of student apartments and townhomes within three buildings, as well as a 489-space parking garage. The project will also feature an amenity package that will include a state-of-the-art fitness center and study rooms on every floor. Additional amenities will include a fitness-on-demand flex room providing different levels of cardio, yoga, spin and Pilates classes, a sauna, a resort-style swimming pool with sunshelf, and multiple courtyards offering a volleyball court, outdoor kitchen, fire pits and exterior TV viewing areas.
Leasing is underway for the project, which will open for its first residents for the fall 2016 semester.
