Valdosta, Ga. — RISE: A Real Estate Company has begun construction on a 599-bed student housing community on the Millersville University campus, as well as a 421-bed, mixed-use residence hall on the campus of Western Carolina University. Both projects will be delivered for student occupancy for the Fall 2016 semester.

Formerly known as Ambling University Development Group, the recently rebranded Valdosta-based developer broke ground at Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania, on May 11, and at Western Carolina University (WCU) in Cullowhee, North Carolina, on June 9.

Millersville University Phase III will house 599 students in two buildings connected by specialty 10 and 20-resident pod units. The project is the third phase of a multi-phase initiative on Millersville University’s campus.

The mixed-use housing project at WCU consists of three buildings connected by two towers in a core location of campus. The development will house 421 students and contain 11,945 square feet of retail space that will serve the general public.
