Turlock, Calif. — The Vista, a 660-bed student housing community developed by AMCAL Equities, has received LEED Silver certification.
The property is located near the California State University, Stanislaus campus in Turlock. The property — which opened in summer 2017 — consists of four buildings, including a 6,460-square-foot clubhouse with volleyball and basketball courts and a resort-style swimming pool.
“Green building helps achieve excellent performance in key areas of human and environmental health,” says Percy Vaz, CEO of AMCAL Equities. “Each new LEED certification is one step closer to revolutionizing the environment in which live, work, play and study. We are particularly proud to have received LEED certification on the second student housing community we have completed, and will continue to pursue high green standards in our projects.”
