Statesboro, Ga. — Berkadia has arranged the sale of and financing for 111 South, a 709-bed student housing community located near Georgia Southern Unversity in Statesboro. Kevin Larimer, Greg Gonzalez and Judy MacManus of Berkadia arranged the sale on behalf the seller, a partnership between Artemis Real Estate Partners and The Preiss Co. The community was acquired by Centurion Property Group for an undisclosed price. The Preiss Co. Breaks Ground on 433-Bed Community Near Clemson University

Clemson, S.C. — The Preiss Co. has broken ground on Signature Hartwell Village, a 433-bed student housing community located near Clemson University in South Carolina. The community will be part of a larger mixed-use development, Hartwell Village, which will include two hotels alongside a retail center occupied by Marshalls, PetCo and Aldi. Joint Venture Acquires 525-Bed Community Near Georgia Tech

Atlanta — A joint venture between The Preiss Co. and Investcorp has acquired Signature West Midtown, a 525-bed student housing community located near the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. The property offers one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units with bed-to-bath parity. Shared amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, sundeck, rooftop lounge, 24-hour fitness center, cyber cafe, ride-share lounge and bicycle storage alongside 10,500 square feet of retail. The seller and terms of the transaction were undisclosed.

Preiss, BCEG International Acquire Two Communities Totaling 1,104 Beds in San Antonio, Las Vegas

(TPCO), in a joint venture partnership with BCEG International Investment US (BCEGI), has acquired the 624-bed High View Place Student Apartments in San Antonio and the 480-bed Rebel Place in Las Vegas.
