Firm Plans to Break Ground this Spring on UNM Housing Community
Albuquerque, N.M. — American Campus Communities will being construction this spring of an 864-bed student housing project on the University of New Mexico's south campus in Albuquerque. The $41.6 million project will be located south of Avenida Cesar Chavez near the school's basketball arena. Students will be housed in four individual units joined by a central living area. The units will include private bathrooms. American Campus will develop the 18.5-acre property to LEED standards. Delivery is expected in the fall of 2011.
