University Developments Announces Plan for 492-Unit Student Housing Community in Miami

Miami — Construction is set to commence on University Bridge Residences, a 492-unit student housing community located across the street from Florida International University in Miami.

The community is being developed by University Developments, a partnership between Global City Development, Reichmann International and Podium Developments. The property will feature a pedestrian bridge, providing a direct connection to campus for residents, and 7,000 square feet of ground floor retail.

One-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units and three- and four-bedroom townhouses will be available to students. Shared amenities will include a resort-style pool with beach entry and a pool volleyball and lap area; cabanas; a sundeck with day beds; barbecue and dining areas; a state-of-the-art fitness center; 5,500-square-foot indoor lounge and game room; business center with four conference rooms; and a rooftop, sunset terrace with dining areas, a large yoga lawn and a performance stage.

Each residential floor will also offer shared study areas. The development was designed by Arquitectonica, and will be managed by Landmark Properties. Cervera Real Estate is in charge of sales and marketing. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2020.
