Asset Living Partners with Campus Kaizen to Offer Roommate Matching, Selection Software for Residents

by Katie Sloan

Houston — Asset Living is set to offer My College Roomie, a roommate matching and self-selection software by Campus Kaizen, across a selection of its managed communities beginning in spring 2022.

My College Roomie allows residents to search for potential roommates by lifestyle preferences, interests and hobbies, and by overall compatibility score. Each of Asset Living’s properties that utilizes the service will have a branded environment and mobile application allowing residents to connect and select roommates. These applications will be tailored to allow matches to be made in accordance with each property’s unique floor plans, unit sizes and timelines.

“At Asset Living, we’re constantly looking at new ways we can invest in our residents and enhance their overall experience, and the student housing team is excited to officially implement the My College Roomie software across participating properties this spring,” says David Walther, chief revenue officer at Houston-based Asset Living.

“As the leader in student housing property management, we’re expected to provide the industry’s best resources for our properties and residents, which is why we’re excited to offer My College Roomie at many of our properties,” he continues.
