Board of Regents Approves New UNO Student Housing

Omaha, Neb.— A ground lease agreement for four, three-story student housing buildings has been approved on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Omaha, Neb.— The University of Nebraska Board Of Regents has unanimously approved a ground lease agreement for four, three-story student housing buildings located on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The proposed $23.36 million complex will include 120 living units, each of which will include four private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. The project, which will be financed and developed by the Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation, is set to be purchased by the university upon completion, with the Scott Foundation receiving a development fee of up to 60 percent of its net cash flow for 30 years. The complex is scheduled for completion in August 2011.
