Chicago — CA Student Living, the student housing division of Chicago-based CA Ventures, has completed eight luxury student housing communities comprising nearly 4,000 beds.
The new projects are valued at over $460 million, and include Uncommon Athens, a 210-bed community located near the University of Georgia campus in Athens; Uncommon Charlottesville, a 357-bed community located near the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville; Uncommon Madison, a 410-bed community located near the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison; Uncommon Tampa, a 512-bed community located six blocks away from the University of South Florida campus in Tampa; HERE Kansas, a 624-bed community located near the University of Kansas in Lawrence; NXNW, a 648-bed community located one mile north of the West Washington University campus in Bellingham, Washington; The Foundation, a 725-bed community located near California State University in Sacramento; and Evolve Allendale, a 600-bed community located near Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. The properties are all located within walking distance of campus, and are roughly 95 percent leased. The communities offer fully furnished units with bed-to-bath parity and in-unit washers and dryers.
