Fort Collins, Colo. — The apartments in the proposed building will be market rent, which at current rates would be between $1,100 and $1,200 per month.
Chicago-based developer CA Ventures has purchased the property at 310 S. College Ave. in Fort Collins, the former home of Perkins restaurant, for $3.5 million. The developer intends to build a six-story apartment building there with some retail on the first floor and parking at and below grade. CA purchased the property from Green Courte Partners, which is no longer in the redevelopment business, and has commenced entitlements and neighborhood meetings. The developer is planning one building but the size and number of units are still unknown. The apartments will be market rent, which at current rates would be between $1,100 and $1,200 per month. CA is hoping to navigate the approvals over the next several months and hope to break ground this summer for a fall 2016 delivery.
