Greensboro, N.C. — Campus Evolution Villages has acquired the 674-bed property adjacent to N.C. A&T University.
Greensboro, N.C. — New York City-based Campus Evolution Villages LLC has acquired Campus Green, a 223-unit, 674-bed student housing property adjacent to North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro. The property offers students fully furnished units, many with private bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as wireless internet and 42″ flat screen televisions in every unit. Residents also have access to a clubhouse with movie room, computer lounge, game area, study lounge, and a new state-of-the-art fitness center.
“We recognize the significant impact housing serves as the environment that shapes how students study, interact with friends, cook, eat, exercise, play – and learn to live away from home, many for the first time,” said Andrew Stark, CEO, Campus Evolution Villages. “Campus Green is more than a place to live, it is a living-learning community with off the charts amenities and a program of events designed to connect residents to all that university life has to offer.”
Campus Evolution Villages was retained as property manager for Campus Green 18 months ago when economic occupancy was significantly lower and operations were strained. With Campus EvolutionVillages hands-on management team and putting in place a best-in-class onsite staff, the property occupancy has been steadily climbing as has Campus Green’s reputation as the place to live off-campus at North Carolina A&T State University.
The acquisition was completed with Campus Evolution Villages partners, Barry Reichmann and associates of Reichmann International Development Corporation, a Toronto, Canada-based firm.
