College Station, Texas — Groundbreaking to begin summer 2012.
College Station, Texas — Capstone Collegiate Communities and Woodridge College Station, an affiliate of Los Angeles-based Woodridge Capital Partners, have announced development plans for the Plaza at College Station.
Woodridge acquired the approximately 11.66-acre site at University Drive and Texas Avenue near the campus of Texas A&M University in July 2011. Construction is expected to begin by summer 2012. Woodridge is planning for a mixed-use project that will incorporate student housing with retail, restaurants and public spaces. Humphreys & Partners Architects will design the project. The plan was filed with the city as part of the public approval process.
