Atlanta — The University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents has approved a $117 million residence hall development on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. The 191,000-square-foot community will offer 850 beds alongside collaborative learning spaces, community lounges and group kitchens. Pine Mountain, Ga. — The Impact 360 Institute, a Christian organization founded by the daughter of Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy, has broken ground on its South Campus Housing project. The development will add 12 student housing cottages across 18 acres in Pine Mountain, roughly 75 miles outside Atlanta. The Impact 360 campus included two 21,000-square-foot residence halls upon opening. Atlanta — SJC Ventures has topped out the second phase of The Interlock, a $750 million mixed-use project located in Atlanta’s West Midtown district. The second phase, built by Choate Construction and anchored by a 42,000-square-foot Publix, features 275,000 square feet of commercial space and 670 units of student housing for Georgia Tech students.
