West Lafayette, Ind. — Muinzer has acquired two student housing properties and an opportunity zone development site near Purdue University in West Lafayette. The acquisitions include two apartment buildings located adjacent to campus at 414 Vine Street and 422 Vine Street. Plans for the development site, located at 400 Ferry Street, were undisclosed. Indianapolis — Spectra Student Living has named Ryan Clasey director of asset management. In his new role, Clasey will work with partner management companies to develop community marketing and leasing strategies; develop and maintain annual budgets; oversee rent collections and delinquency management; and produce monthly financials and cash management strategies. Clasey will also conduct market studies in search of opportunities for development and acquisition on- and off-campus. The Indianapolis-based company was founded in 2017.

West Lafayette, Ind. — A joint venture between Muinzer and South Street Capital has acquired a 528-bed student housing portfolio located near Purdue University in West Lafayette for $33.5 million. Acquired properties include Waldron Square, located at 621-645 Waldron St.; Settlement, located at 515 W. Stadium Ave.; and Cedarwood, located at 515-527 N. Grant St. The seller in the transaction was undisclosed.

West Lafayette, Ind. — A joint venture between the Purdue Research Foundation, Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions and Walsh Investors has broken ground on Aspire at Discovery Park, an 835-bed student housing community located within a $1 billion development district on the west side of the Purdue University campus in West Lafayette.
