Tallahassee, Fla. — Atlanta-based Chance Partners has commenced construction for 115 new beds of luxury student housing near the campus of Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Chance Partners will construct two new communities, Paces and Vue. Paces will be a townhome community containing 43 beds in 12 units. The residences will contain oversized double balconies and rooftop terraces. The project’s ground floor will contain an urban market. Vue will contain 36 beds in three apartment buildings.

In addition, the developer will be adding a second phase to its Avenues community, which was completed in fall 2010. Avenues II will contain 36 beds in three buildings.

The projects are scheduled for completion this August. Reese Vanderbilt is serving as project architect and Atlanta-based Hathaway Construction is the general contractor.
