Willington, Conn. — Chozick Realty Inc. has brokered the sale of Willington Oaks Apartments for $8.4 million. The seller was RRE VIP Willington LLC and the buyer was Willington Oaks LLC. Willington Oaks is a 128-unit student apartment community in Willington, which is next to Mansfield, Conn., and the University of Connecticut. This sale comes on the heels of a five-property, 231-unit student portfolio that Chozick Realty completed in October 2012 in the UCONN market, which has seen strong investor activity because of limited off-campus housing and a growing student population, according to Rick Chozick, president of Chozick Realty.
