Cohen Financial Closes Refinance Loan on Washington State Property

Pullman, Wash. — Pet-friendly property on WSU campus is fully occupied.

Pullman, Wash. — Cohen Financial has announced securing a $10.5 million refinancing for the Birch Hills Apartments on Washington State University’s campus in Pullman. The property consists of 144 apartments and is currently fully occupied. Peter Norrie, managing director of Cohen Financial’s Portland, Ore., office, arranged the loan, which was 80 percent of property value and has a seven-year term with a 30-year amortization schedule. The lender is Freddie Mac. The borrower is a Pullman-based multifamily developer.
