Pittsburgh and Annville, Pa. — Comcast has launched Xfinity On Campus, a service that allows college students to watch live TV and On Demand content on their IP-enabled devices like laptops and smartphones, at Carnegie Mellon University and Lebanon Valley College.

The service, which is included within room and board for students living in on-campus housing, features access to 100 live cable channels, as well as TV shows and movies via Xfinity On Demand.

While off campus, students can use their university credentials to sign in and access online programming that’s part of their subscriptions via TV Everywhere websites and apps such as WatchESPN and FXNOW. Xfinity On Campus students can also upgrade to a selection of premium channels at additional cost, including HBO, Showtime, STARZ and the Sports Entertainment Package.
