Construction of Kennesaw State Soccer Stadium Wrapping Up

Kennesaw, Ga. — Atlanta-based Choate Construction Co. is eyeing a spring completion of a $16.5 million soccer stadium on the campus of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw.

Kennesaw, Ga. — Atlanta-based Choate Construction Co. is eyeing a spring completion of a $16.5 million soccer stadium on the campus of Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw. Features include locker rooms, administrative offices and stadium seating for 8,300 spectators. The property, which was designed by the architecture firm Rossetti, is part of the second phase of the university’s Sports & Recreation Park, an 88-acre project that will feature additional soccer fields, a rugby field and hiking trails. The Atlanta Beat, a women’s professional soccer team is expected to lease the stadium this spring.
