Construction Underway on Student Housing Community Near the University of West Georgia

Carrollton, Ga. — Construction is underway on Bellamy Carrollton Student Apartments near the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. The property is being developed by Mallory & Evans Development and is scheduled for completion in fall 2020. The community will offer three- and four-bedroom, apartment-style units alongside five-bedroom, two-story townhomes. Each bedroom will feature a private bathroom and study space. Units will offer smart home technology, including an Amazon Alexa, which provides students with thermostat, television and smart lock control. Shared amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, gathering areas with grills, fire pits, hammocks, a dog park, clubhouse, 24-hour fitness center, study rooms and a computer lounge. Peak Campus has been tapped to manage the community upon completion.
