Granite Student Living Acquires Management Division of Tempo Properties

West Lafayette, Ind. — Granite Student Living has acquired the property management division of Tempo Properties for an undisclosed price. Tempo’s third-party management platform serves a 900-bed portfolio of student housing properties located near Indiana University in Bloomington.

“Bloomington is a growing market with many of the large national developers swooping in over the past few years, which will change the dynamics of property management, therefore this is a great time for a merger to drive even better cutting edge management practices,” says John Rabold, chief revenue officer at West Lafayette-based Granite.
