Green Real Estate Group Begins Development in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Chattanooga, Tenn. — Locally based firm says there is a student housing shortage in Chattanooga.

VINE324 in Chattanooga.Chattanooga, Tenn. — Green Real Estate Group has started construction on VINE324 in Chattanooga, home to several institutions of higher learning, including the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. The 31-bed project downtown at Vine and Lindsay streets will consist of eight suites that will be furnished and will include designer finishes, a large kitchen and living area with a 50-inch flat-screen television. Each private bedroom will contain a queen-size bed, full-size closets, cable and Internet access, and a writing desk. “VINE 324 will be a modern, affordable and innovative solution to the student housing shortage of Chattanooga,” according to Green Real Estate Group. The general contractor will be The Strauss Company. The building was designed by Method Architecture and AD Engineering Services. Preleasing begins in October, with move-in scheduled for January 2015.
